DESIGN COUNCIL: celebrating the work of legendary design director

THE TASK

To conclude the Leading Women series, we were given the opportunity to highlight the groundbreaking work of design director Jane Priestman. Now in her late 80’s and with a heart condition which often makes speaking difficult, we needed to highlight her career with praise and respect.

OUR SOLUTION

We developed a format that would allow us to tell Jane’s story without putting too much pressure on her to speak. We filmed a conversation with her and her great friend and colleague Lady Frances Sorrell, using archived images and articles that we had sourced to shape the conversation.

We accompanied this with an in-depth feature about Jane’s career.
